Acids

Acids

Mineral or organic, acid is a chemical substance that can lose a proton in water, and comes in two forms: strong acid and weak acid. Their difference lies in their reaction to water: a strong acid reacts completely with water, while a weak acid causes a homogeneous equilibrium. Acid solutions can dissolve many materials. Acids are mainly used in the industrial field.
